Kids Connection School Age Childcare

Kids Connection, a New York State licensed 5 day a week school aged child care program, is open to any school aged child 5 to 15 years old in the Southern Tier.

Kids Connection offers parents affordable piece of mind and children an exciting variety of opportunities after school. Our experienced staff take pride in maintaining a safe and supervised after school program with a teacher/student ratio of 1:10.

Kids in our school age program have complete access to all that the amazing JCC facilities have to offer including:

• School-Age Playground
• Indoor Heated Swimming Pool
• Gymnasium
• Auditorium and Theater
• Sports fields and Nature Trail

Other School Districts:

KC follows the Vestal SD calendar however, days off often coincide with other districts. For after school care, children can be dropped off at the JCC by their parent/guardian starting at 3pm.

Competitively priced, Kids Connection is available for any child 5 to 15 years old on a yearly 5 day a week contract or drop-in basis.

To register you will need:

• KC registration packet
• Completed contract(below)
• Immunization record(most recent)
• Child's physical(within one year)

KC Contract Options

1. Full Year Contract: 
Children who attend need after school care 1-5 days a week
Registration Fee: $100 per contract
Non-Member Fee: $110 per week per child
Member Fee: $80 per week per child
Long day Fee (additional): $40 per day (JCC Member) $50 per day (Non-Members)

2. Drop-In Contract: No School (Long Day) Care Slots Available
Children who need care on Long Days only (school holidays, snow days, etc).
Not for afterschool care
Registration Fee: $40 per contract
Member Fee: $65 per day per child
Non-Member Fee: $75 per day per child

School Days: 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm

KC After School Schedule
3:30 pm - 3:50 pm Snack, Free Time & Homework
3:50 pm - 4:00 pm Circle Time
4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
-Mon/Wed/Fri: Choice of Project (ie art, science, cooking, etc) or Gym
-Tues/Thurs Optional Indoor Swim
5:00 pm - 5:30 pm Playground in nice weather or clubs in Kids Connection room

Days off from school: 7:30 am - 6:00 pm, children will swim between 2:00 pm - 3:30pm

1:1 Aid policy for school age children:
JCC policy is as follows, if a child need a 1:1 aid during the school year, a 1:1 aid is required to participate in a JCC Program (Kids Connection, Camp JCC, Specialty Camps). The JCC does not provide aides, the family must provide one. JCC Administration has the discretion to require a 1:1 aid in other circumstances.
